Les parcours du Tour de France masculin a été officiellement dévoilé. L'épreuve  marque le retour de la Grande Boucle dans l'Ouest, avec des passages en Bretagne, en Normandie. La 7e étape entre Saint-Malo et Mûr-de-Bretagne sera forcément un moment fort pour Bernard Hinault, qui verra passer le Tour « chez lui. » « Cela me touche », assure le Breton. L'étape 7 partira le 11 juillet de Saint Malo, et passera à Calorguen, où réside Bernard Hinault, Dinan puis direction Yffignac et Mur de Bretagne. 

La caravane du Tour est attendue à partir de 12 h 20 en ville, les cyclistes entre 14 h 15 et 14 h 25.
